Addis Ababa, May 13, 2022(Walta) – The World Food Program (WFP) announced that it has distributed 3,000 tons of food in Tigray last week.
According to the the UN food agency, 165 trucks carrying food aid arrived in Tigray last week.
The food supply has reached 120,000 people and 3,400 tones of food sent to distribution points in Tigray, it was learned.
It is also reported that 94 aid trucks are currently heading towards Tigray.
According to the World Food Program, food aid distribution is also underway in Afar and Amhara regions.
