Ethiopian Forces Targets Selected TPLF Military Capabilities – Government –

Addis Ababa, August 26, 2022 (Walta) – Ethiopian forces will target selected Tigray People Liberation Front (TPLF) capabilities said Government Communication Service (GCS).
“Although the Government has kept the door open for peace until now, the TPLF cliques have continued their attacks. Therefore, while the readiness of the Federal Government to talk unconditionally is preserved, it will take action targeting the military forces that are the source of the anti-peace sentiment of the TPLF,” said GCS in a statement it released a while ago.
The government called civilians living in Tigray Region to stay away from areas where TPLF place military equipment and train its forces.
TPLF has been designated as terrorist group by Ethiopian House of People’s Representatives.
